How long have you been skateboarding?
22 years

Why did you start skateboarding?
I started skateboarding because I saw my neighbor jumping around having a blast skateboarding in the middle of the street. I thought to myself I need one of those things and I never looked back since.


Where are you from originally?
I was born in Pasadena, CA and my Mom moved to Santa Barbara when I was 6 months old.  I have been here ever since.

How's the skate scene In Santa Barbara?
The skate scene was real big in the late 90's early 2000's growing up in the Shortys skateboards era, man there were so many spots. The scene now is growing and with limited spots to skate but we have a pretty cool skate park right by the beach and some hit or miss skate spots poppin up here and there. There's a lot of younger kids these day's nippen it up but we still have our OGs keepin it sk8y.

Who are your top 3 pro skateboarders?
Hard to say but my all time favorite skateboarder has always been Tom Penny and still is.

What is your warm up routine when you get to a spot and are about to drop some hammers?

I like to do some ollies and kick flips, stretch and then I'm ready.

I have never skated in a legit contest in my life!

Tell us about your company and why you started it?
I've always wanted to have a skateboard company but never knew how to get one started. 3 years ago I started drawing my logos on sticker paper and cutting them out. I would give out all the stickers to local kids at the SB skate park. About 8 months later I came out with my first run of t-shirts that sold out pretty fast. I then made more shirts, hoodies and limited edition skateboard decks. My main goal with my company is to uplift the youth through skateboarding. I see today's youth stumbling and I see skateboarding as a positive outlet for so many because skateboarding was for me. I would most likely be dead or in jail if I wasn't a skateboarder. I'm stoked I can inspire the youth through my brand.

How old is your son?
Ayden is 6 1/2 years old and I love that kid more than he loves fresh chocolate muffins from the grocery store.
